Empresa Eléctrica de Arica S.A. An electric power distribution, transmission and trading company based in Chile's XV region (Arica and Parinacota). Its concession area covers the municipalities of Arica and Camarones, the Lluta and Azapa valleys, and the village of Cuya, among others. It serves over 61,150 residential, business and industrial clients. In 2008, it sold 218,153MWh of electricity. Emelari is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emel.
