Argentine organization DEIE is responsible for producing, analyzing and sharing socioeconomic information with state, private, municipal, provincial and national agencies. Among other things, it conducts studies on health, housing, family, education, foreign trade, and technology. It also makes available economic, social, municipal and provincial publications.
The agency has ties with Mendoza’s production ministry.
Argentina’s public technical agency Indec directs and supervises all official statistical activities carried out in the country.
It is legally responsible for designing, organizing, and directing the country’s national censuses and surveys, developing basic social and economic indicators, and producing other basic statistics.
INDEC is also in charge of coordinating Argentina’s statistical system (SEN).
