Chile’s non-profit association SOFOFA brings together industrialists and industrial unions. It has a membership base of nearly 2,500 companies, 38 sector associations and eight regional labor groups. The organization has the mission to promote the country’s industrial development and economic growth, developing public policies to encourage investment and entrepreneurship, and create jobs. SOFOFA also works to stimulate private initiative, the free market, and trade openness.
